Relax, It's Not Aliens: Man-Made Things Mistaken for UFOs
Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) are simply things we can’t identify right away. But that doesn’t mean they’re alien spacecraft. Most UFO sightings turn out to be man-made objects or natural sky phenomena: satellites, rockets, drones, balloons, aircraft, bright planets, or atmospheric effects.
And today, the sky is busier than ever. Starlink satellites are launched regularly, rockets leave unusual trails, and drones are everywhere. No wonder some objects can look truly otherworldly — especially when they appear as glowing dots, colorful lights, or strange shapes moving across the sky.
In this infographic, we’ve collected common objects that are often mistaken for UFOs. Share your examples on our Instagram account — and next time you see something weird in the sky, check this list before calling it aliens.
