Last Supermoon of 2020

The Full Moon in May will be the last of the three Supermoons to take place this year, also the 3rd-closest and the 3rd-largest year’s Full Moon. On May 7, its distance from Earth will be 361,184 km, which is further away than the March and April Moons were. Although Supermoons appear about 7% larger and about 15% brighter in the night sky than typical Full Moons, this difference is hard to see with the naked eye of a casual observer.
